Hi! My name is Alberto. Recently I have been asked by my English teacher, Agust from (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas) EOI to write a Digital Portfolio (Art dossier) where I have to collect my thoughts about learning English improvements. So let´s get started!

[About me]

Previus to start, I will introduce myself. I am an Industrial Engineer. I love all typical things that engineers do. Math, electronics repair things, etc.

During my professional career I have made a lot of different stuffs. Actually, I am not working in a factory environment with enormous robots or machines. Somehow, finally I work in a consultancy company, diving in the digital world trying to help companies in their way to the digitalization.

I am the typical introverted engineer who has a hard time talking about himself, so maybe it´s complicated for me describe my personality.
I have been living in many places and now, I am living in Cornellá with my family. I like this place. If I have to choose a city to live, I won´t choose, a big city like New York, I will choose a smaller like Cornellá, near to beautiful places and green areas and focus on sustainable mobility. From my point of view, Cornella is a good mixture between quality of live and professional opportunities.

[English touchpoints]

In my work, I am always involved in an English atmosphere. As International company, the company that I work for, emit communications always in English and I have had the opportunity to work with foreign people. Actually I´m working with some English talking partners and I have daily meeting with them. of course, In English! During my workday I should write and edit many documents in English. The majority of them are presentation that don´t require to write a big amount of text or develop a detailed idea.
In the wake of the idea of creating an art dossier and as a new year eve resolution I have decided to create a blog about new ways of sustainable mobility. The Idea is to publish articles related with sustainable mobility (Electric car, skates, bicycles, hybrid cars, etc)
